Deliveries of the much-anticipated Hero Xpulse 210 have finally begun in select cities across India. Launched earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the motorcycle saw bookings open on 20 March. While some cities have started receiving initial stocks, others like Mumbai and Pune are yet to get their first batch of bikes.
Deliveries
It’s been just a couple of weeks since deliveries kicked off, and they are being rolled out in phases. Only a limited number of cities have received initial consignments, so if your city hasn’t seen a delivery yet, you’re not alone. Hero is gradually expanding availability as more stock arrives.
Waiting
The waiting period for the Xpulse 210 varies slightly depending on the city. But generally, most customers can expect a delay of around 45 to 60 days. This isn’t entirely surprising given the bike’s limited availability through Hero’s premium Premia dealership network.
Unlike Hero’s regular showrooms, the Xpulse 210 is only being retailed through the Premia outlets. As of the end of 2024, there were just 40 Premia dealerships across 35 Indian cities, and there hasn’t been an official update on expansion since then. So, the sparse network is likely contributing to the longer waiting periods.
Variants
The new Hero Xpulse 210 is available in two trims—Base and Top. This new motorcycle doesn’t carry anything forward from the Xpulse 200 4V, and that includes design, engine, and hardware.
The Top variant gets more adventure-focused features like a 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel ABS, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and a rear luggage rack. The Base variant, meanwhile, is a bit simpler with an LCD console, smaller flyscreen, single-channel ABS, and no knuckle guards or rack.

Engine
At the heart of the Xpulse 210 is a 210cc, liquid-cooled engine derived from the Karizma XMR, though heavily reworked. It features a different ECU map, revised cooling, intake and exhaust systems, and a rear sprocket with four extra teeth. This setup delivers 24.2bhp and 20.7Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smooth downshifts.
The bike uses a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel combination, which gives it better off-road capability. The suspension travel and ground clearance are significantly improved compared to the older Xpulse 200 4V. However, the added features and size come at the cost of weight—the Xpulse 210 tips the scales at 168kg, which is 9kg heavier than its predecessor.
Impressions
We had a chance to ride the Xpulse 210 back in March 2025, and the first impressions were very positive. It feels like a more mature, purpose-built dual-sport machine compared to the older 200. The upgraded suspension, better ground clearance, and refined engine tuning make it a solid contender for both urban commuting and weekend trail riding.
